Your likely to have a few questions about us, our van or motorhome hire in general and thats why we have put this FAQ page together. You’ll find answers to the most common questions we get, but if you find we havent answered your question then head over to our contact page and let us know.
Its easy, head over to our online booking page where you can check availability. A booking deposit of £250 will be required or full payment if its a late booking.
The full balance will need to be paid no later than 4 weeks before collection. As insurance security you will be asked to leave a refundable security deposit of £1000 upon collection. This acts as an insurance excess during your hire, and will be refunded provided that the vehicle is returned clean and undamaged as described in our terms and conditions.

The basic price includes rental of the van, gas for cooking and all standard kitchen and van equipment and fully comprehensive insurance.
Also included is RAC membership for your peace of mind. This includes Roadside assistance in case of emergency.
Your van will be available for collection between 2-4pm on your day of departure, unless otherwise arranged.
Your van will need to be home between 11am and 12noon on your final day, unless otherwise arranged.
Yes, currently there is a £1000 deposit, This is card pre-authorisation which is fully returnable on completion of your holiday as long as the motorhome is returned undamaged, reasonably clean with the waste and toilet empty.
Booking a motorhome
More than 6 weeks cancellation notice:
Your booking deposit will be refunded.
Between 4 & 6 weeks cancellation notice:
50% of your booking deposit will be refunded
Less than 4 weeks cancellation notice:
No refund would be issued.
The balance must be paid at least 4 weeks prior to pickup otherwise your booking may be cancelled. We will remind you via email on how to pay your balance.
Yes. We use Stripe and Square, well known secure payment processors for taking debit and credit card payments.
We can accept up to 2 minor endorsements per driver (no more than a total of 6 points) under the following codes – CU10-80, SP10-60, PC10-50, TS10-70. Minor convictions/endorsements with these conviction codes are on your driving licence for a minimum of 4 years before they are removed.
Anyone aged between 21 & 70 can hire our van subject to having no more than 6 points and held a full license for over 2 years. See the terms and conditions for more info.
Yes, we provide comprehensive insurance as art of your booking for 1 named driver who can be aged between 21 & 70. Additional drivers can be added.
If there is damage to the motorhome and the accident was your fault, your liability is the first £1000, in the case of damage caused due to the third party we will retain the excess until it is agreed it is the other parties fault (unfortunatley many people say it wasn’t their fault and it turns out to be their responsibility once the facts are checked).
For overhead or reversing damage (eg from trees, bollards etc) you are liable for the first £1000.
For write off or theft you are liable for the first £1000. Please note acts of negligence or abuse are completely your responsibility.
Our van is well maintained and serviced regularly, however it is covered by the RAC for breakdown and emergency.
Yes, a bike rack is fitted to the camper, can carry upto 4 bikes and is included in the hire price.
Yes it is, however we do charge an extra cleaning fee of £100. Dogs are not allowed on the bed or in the loft area.
The hirer is liable for all of the above and will be charged the full amount.
Our van is strictly no-smoking, if you do smoke in the van then you will lose your security deposit.
Yes, it does. A hook up means there is a 240v sockets available in the vehicle and a lead to plug in to campsite electrical point. The socket can be used to power mains voltage appliances such as laptop charge or hairdryer.
Unfortunately not, you should ensure your home contents insurance covers your possessions whilst away from home.
The hirer and the driver need to bring;
The driver will be liable for the insurance excess in the event of any damage to the vehicle. Anything beyond that is covered by the insurance where a claim can be made. The driver is responsible for getting the contact details of any third parties involved.
The stove is propane gas fuelled. Our van is supplied with an installed gas bottle and a spare – this is included within the hire charge. We endeavour to ensure there is adequate gas supply for the length of your trip, but if you should run out please replace the bottle at a petrol station, camping shop or gas centre and we will reimburse you the cost on your return. Please keep your receipt.
We recommend that you book your campsites in advance during the peak season and school holidays, particularly if you would need electric hook-up which will enable you to use all the camper facilities to their full advantage
